Alcohol is responsible for over 1 in 20 of deaths worldwide, based on a recent edition of a World Health Organization (WHO) report which comes out every four decades.
The Guardian suggests that the report found that roughly three million deaths in 2016 can result from alcohol, of which 2.3 million were males and 29 percent were due to injuries (such as everything from injuries to automobile crashes and suicides) instead of health problems. Other recorded causes of death contained digestive disorders (21 percent) and cardiovascular disorders (19 percent), as well as”infectious diseases, cancers, mental disorders” and other ailments brought on by alcohol intake, CNN added.
